Death

So I'm wondering.....death, do they really happen in 3's? My favorite kitty (Sassy) from childhood crossed into kitty heaven on Friday. The our next door neighbor, Max died on Thursday......and now....Tina the sucker fish had to be flushed away tonight. I can't deal with all of this death surrounding me!!! Sassy and Tina had both lived very long lives, and let's be honest they are animals. Max on the other hand was such a good friend of ours. He always made sure that the house was taken care of, and the newspaper and trash cans put away. Which in turn we did for him as well. He was the neighbor that you wished you always had. Oh, and how he loved the munchkins. They will miss him terribly, especially Kira who asks every time we pull into the driveway, "um Mommy why did Max have to go to heaven?" I tell ya, you can only tell the story so many different ways. At least she made me feel a little bit better when she said, "Well Mommy you're not old so you aren't going to die." Ahh, kids you gotta love them.
