The second most wonderful time of the year.....

We got a box from Grammy Bonnie and the Aunties today! It seriously is one of the biggest highlights of the holiday season. Not because of what's under the wrapping paper, but because we get a huge box.....full of gifts AND packing peanuts. This year there were a few less peanuts than in previous years, but still enough to make a really big mess all over the floor, thanks grammy. The kids love pulling out all of the packages and then playing in the box. Tonight Lynn packed Kira up in the box and we pretended to sent her to Washington. Evan wasn't into having the lid closed on him....smart boy. So, to our family in Washington, thank you! Kira is a little worried that there won't be any room left for Santa's presents.....she worries about the smallest stuff. Oh, and thanks for the See's.....my Christmas is never complete without those! :) We wish you could come in the box too!!
The pictures pretty well sum up the whole event. The one of Evan so excited is priceless. Kira with the quarters was pretty funny as well. Only to find out on the phone later when talking to Grammy is that those quarters were not hers.....oh the sad look on her face. But, Grammy reassured me that Kira will be opening a special surprise...it's just that those particular quarters were not hers.

The scissors came out. She's getting better with the cutting, but I don't like it, not one bit.
